The Canadian Soccer Association and NUTRILITE have announced today that they have expanded their relationship to promote soccer in Canada.

Building on its success as title partner of the Nutrilite Canadian Championship, NUTRILITE becomes the title sponsor for both the U-14 and U-16 Nutrilite All Stars championships and the Nutrilite Mini Soccer Festival program. In addition, NUTRILITE becomes an associate partner of both the men’s and women’s national teams. With this announcement NUTRILTIE has truly become a brand that is synonymous with soccer in Canada at all levels.

The Nutrilite All Star Championship, which is part of the BMO National Championships, pits the top U-14 and U-16 players from across Canada. The 2009 Nutrilite All Star Championships kick off 21 July in British Columbia and Québec. The U-14 and U-16 Boys All Stars runs 21-26 July in Richmond, BC at Minoru Park while the U-14 and U-16 Girls All Stars runs 21-26 July in Laval, QC at Complex Bois-de-Boulogne. Nutrilite Mini Soccer Festivals presented by BMO help introduce young Canadians to the sport of soccer through fun non-competitive festivals. Festivals range from 60 to 6,000 participants and are held throughout the year. On an annual basis the Mini Soccer Festival program reaches approximately 200,000 children and their parents, not to mention some 50,000 volunteers. The Nutrilite Canadian Championship is Canada’s professional club competition featuring the Impact de Montréal, Toronto FC and Vancouver Whitecaps FC. While Montréal won the inaugural championship in 2008, Toronto FC won the 2009 Nutrilite Canadian Championship just last week. The Nutrilite Canadian Championship qualifies the winning team as Canada’s entry into the CONCACAF Champions League.
