Aron Winter
Overall Impression
It is a pity that we gave away the game, because we started very well, and then in the end when you have 10 players it is going to be very difficult because Columbus has a good team.

On Tchani being sent off
It was stupid because he had his first yellow card, and you know that when you leave the pitch to jump in the crowd you are going to get your second yellow. At that moment he was emotional because it was his first goal for TFC, and he forgot, but it was not clever.

On the team’s play in the first half up to the first goal
Yes, again it is a pity that we tied, because after last week how we started, compared to now, it was a very good start. Not only the start, but the way we played the first half, it was very good because we were dominating the game at that time. In the second half we made some changes because we have a very hard period in the coming weeks, and you have to be careful with some players, so we made some changes to at least get one point.

Tony Tchani
On what Winter said to him after his expulsion
He was mad, he thought it was stupid, but I didn’t think it was stupid because I have seen games before that (players go into the crowd) all the time. I thought that for my first goal I had to give that to the fans.

On regretting the two yellow cards
On the first (yellow card) it wasn’t me, I didn’t push the guy it was my teammate. I didn’t want to snitch on my teammate but it was my teammate who pushed the guy. Then the ref called me and gave me the yellow card, I was shocked. Then on the second one, I was like “what’s going on?”, then he gives me the red.

Adrian Cann
On playing down a man for most of the match
You know, to say the least I thought we did quite well as a unit. We clustered the middle, forcing them to the flanks a lot. It was difficult because we just sat in and couldn’t create much, other that a few counter attacks. I thought the new guys that came on did very well, and I’m happy that we played as a unit. Its just unfortunate that we couldn’t get the three points we were aiming for, especially with a man down, I thought that if we had eleven guys playing we would take the three points no problem.

On the teams play before the red card
I thought it was the best 45 we had for the season, so its disappointing that we couldn’t stay at eleven guys at get the win.

Robert Warzycha
Being a man up in the second half, you would have liked to have scored a second goal?
Absolutely! I mean we have got to finish better, we have got some chances and some good looks but the shots didn’t hit the target and we missed our chance.

Was it simply a matter of finishing you think? Were you pleased with the chances that were created
and just weren’t finished?

Well if you play a man up, look what happens; they had ten players in the space of 20 yards what are you going to do, you get lucky or you don’t get lucky. Try to just cross the ball and stick to the plans, but I think as a team absolutely we have to be smarter. We have to figure out how to play with a man up. Because we were not always doing the best thing; we were trying to score a goal, rushing to score a goal but that is not always the best thing to do you should be patient. Sometimes you are overlapping when you should stay, players rotating through different positions and forget to be there. We have to figure out how to be patient and play with a man up.

On the defensive side, Toronto did have a couple chances in the second half was it a matter of just getting caught up?
I remember one shot and of course a chance is a chance, a shot is a shot, but for them it is only a counter and that happens.

Do you think this was a winnable game for this team, sometimes you go on the road and a point is great. Today do you feel like you left two points out there?
I think so, I feel we should have come out with three points but I have to be fair to Toronto too. Last game they lost at home 3-0 they came fired up and had a very good first half.

Tommy Heinemann
Today being a man up for an entire half, it may feel like you left two points out there?
Yeah I think we expected a little bit more out of ourselves and it just didn’t go our way.

As far as chances in the second half, I know You didn’t play a tonne of minutes, but what was going on out there to the untrained eye?
The majority of the half we felt we had them pinned, just trying to figure out a way to break them down. We had a couple good chances, I had a chance and the expectation when you get chances is to finish them. We worked hard and we went at them and we did come away with a point, so a point is a point.

What is it going to take, it seems to be the mantra to finish, finish, finish your chances and it sounds cliche to say but you have five goals now, so what can be done?
You just keep working hard as a team and the goals will start coming if we do that. If we let our frustration get the better of us then it will affect our game. We’ve got nine points now and we just have to keep working hard.
