So the showdown approaches.
Are we talking a football stadium that could accommodate soccer or a soccer stadium that could accommodate football? Will Frank Clair Stadium be resurrected along with another coming of the Canadian Football League? Or will a new home be built for Major League Soccer in the shadows of Scotiabank Place? Or none of the above.
Certainly, the most important skirmishes so far are upon us and the two protagonists are well aware of it.
