December 2008 FIFA Rankings
It’s not been a winning year for Canada’s World Cup teams.
Both squads have dropped in world rankings. The Men are parked in the #91 spot. The Women have moved out of the Top 10.
A first in the history of the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking: by winning EURO 2008, Spain grabbed top spot in the ranking, have remained unchallenged at the top ever since and are the Team of the Year.
Men’s Ranking
For the first time in the history of the FIFA/Coca-Cola Women’s World Ranking, Germany are not in the top spot at the end of the year.
