Bryst Partner With Monterrey Football Club of Mexico

Bryst International has signed an agreement with the Monterrey Football Club of Mexico. The relationship will focus on the development of players and coaches with both organizations. Monterrey FC are in the Mexican First Division and currently sit in second place in Group 2. Bryst Goalkeeper Coach, Jochen Schlichte, has been working on this agreement for the last eight months.

Bryst will identify young male players, ages 12-14 and 15-18, to be assessed on trial by Monterrey. Monterrey will identify some of their young developing players to travel to Canada in the summer to train and compete with the Bryst Football Academy Teams. Bryst will also utilize their connection with European clubs to create opportunities for the Monterrey players.

For coaching development, Bryst will send some of their coaching staff to Monterrey to work with their Youth Academy staff in the fall of 2008. Monterrey will send their coaches to Toronto in the summer of 2009. This will create an exchange of player development and organizational development ideas for both organizations.

Bryst International is very excited about expanding their international network of club connections with another organization in CONCACAF. Cruzeiro FC of Brazil and Burnley FC of England are traveling to Toronto this summer to conduct training and evaluation sessions for Canadian players.
