If the magnificent pitch at Burnaby’s Swangard Stadium is a harbinger of things to come then soccer fans in the Lower Mainland are in for a treat.
The staff of Burnaby Parks and Recreation Department have been hard at work ensuring that the playing surface at Swangard is world class for the FIFA U-20 World Cup Canada 2007 games that kick off at the venue on Sunday, July 1st. They have succeeded.
